is the Managing Director of FQM Ltd. Allan is an executive adviser with substantial experience in the management of RandD (technology and product development), volume manufacturing, printing, plastics technologies and the food, beverage and general packaging industries.
Chris Docherty is a Director of FQM Ltd with responsibility for FQM Training and Sales and Marketing. Chris has over 20 years experience in Contracts, Quality Management and Project Management at a Senior Level. He has managed many of the largest ‘blue chip’ companies in the global market place for Qualification, Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action, Business Process Improvement, Management Systems Integration, Change Management and Strategic Project Management.
George Melvin is an Associate Director for FQM Ltd with responsibility for the HSEQ Centre of Excellence. George has over 16 Years of Project Management/Production/Commissioning & Maintenance Engineering experience in the Oil and Gas and construction industries coupled with 15 Years of HS&E experience working within the onshore Gas/NGL processing and LNG tanker loading terminals and offshore on both FPSO’s/platforms with associated subsea satellites.
Brian Minty is an Associate Director for FQM Ltd with responsibility for the HSEQ Centre of Excellence. With over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, Brian has developed strong management and coaching skills. He has a long standing track record of delivering HSEQ policies and procedures for a variety of oil & gas companies, including BMS, IMS, Asset Integrity, Process Safety, as well as the entire HSEQ compliance suite related to the Management of Change. Brian specialises in developing and integrating HSEQ Management Systems, Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis, incident management and closure. His career has exposed him to many different cultures and levels of maturity of local, regional and international HSEQ systems. He has held senior HSEQ roles in Europe, Africa, the CIS, Russia and the USA.
Michael Freeman is an Associate Director for FQM Ltd with responsibility for the Management Systems team and delivering FQM Training.
June Carter a Health and Safety (H&S) professional with 20 years of experience in delivering on H&S solutions, legal compliance, and implementation of management systems across diverse sectors, including UK Oil and Gas. June has worked in the UK and Europe, and provides the qualifications, skills and competencies to complement any organisations health and safety requirements. She is very capable of working both independently and also as part of a team, and has strong communication and people management skills.
A Communication expert specialised in Stakeholder Communication, with more than 15 years of international experience of internal and external communication strategies across governments, energy operators and international regulators, with particular focus on oil & gas and high environmental impact industries. Specialised in defining, delivering and monitoring the effectiveness of communication programmes to achieve the behavioural and cultural understanding required during complex periods: local, national or international crisis, issues with the potential of escalating into crisis, international negotiations and mediation. Advisor to organisations on how to anticipate and assess threats and elaborates response strategies designed to align the corporate reputational objectives with stakeholders’, employees’ and publics’ expectations.
Janette is in charge of our FQM office in Perth. She deals with the administration of all FQM matters including enquiries, booking of consultants and issuing certificates.
has been a professional management system auditor since 1996 and is experienced in assessing organisations for compliance with the requirements of management (ISO) standards and best practice. Peter designs, compiles and delivers management systems for clients providing advice, guidance and training to help them implement their systems to achieve and maintain certification from FQM or if required a UKAS accredited body.
is a management consultant with nearly 20 years experience. He completed courses in business management and internal auditing at Newcastle Business School and has worked in a variety of areas from the service through to the manufacturing sector.
Leonard has been in management training, teaching and development for twenty-five years, first at the Glasgow University Business School and free-lance for the last twenty years. He currently delivers within the oil industry and teaches on the MBA programme at the Open Unniversity.
Bob Summers is a member of Society of Operations Engineers, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Society of Underwater Technologies.
A Chartered Forrester with 15 years industry practice Alastair is building up his environmental consultancy portfolio covering environmental law, social and environmental accounting (including carbon foot-printing), industrial environmental strategy and business development in the environment.

Alun is a committed Management Systems Professional with extensive knowledge and experience of delivering 'value added' system excellence in line with business needs within the ISO framework.
Claire Bentley has over 10 years’ experience in management systems implementation, auditing and risk assessment. Working mainly within the Oil and Gas supply chain Claire has a particular strength in business improvement and HSEQ.
David has in excess of 30 years national and international oil & gas project engineering and management expertise and experience within Operators, EPIC contractors, and consultancy teams for various onshore, offshore and subsea projects with project values extending from $Mn’s to in excess of $Bn’s CAPEX.
